Hi, I’m Ron – welcome to my website. It’s full of nice photos and probably not as many words as the Googlebot would like to see but hey, I’m a photographer not a writer (bear that in mind if you check out the blog….)

Now I’m assuming that you’re here because a) you saw were bored, saw some of my pics somewhere (they do get around) and were so overwhelmed by their general awesomeness that you just had to see where they came from (big-headed, me?!) or b) you need a photographer for some reason and you are having a look through the results of your search.

Now a) is a nice reason and please feel free to have a poke through the galleries, send compliments, flowers, or handfuls of money – but reason b) is more why I’m here if we’re being honest with each other.

 

Soooo, maybe you want a portrait, a family group photo or something a little romantic or intimate for you and your sweetie. Maybe you’re getting engaged or married (congratulations!).

Or it could be something a little more business-based – you need catalogue, advertising or promotional images. Or you’re updating your modelling portfolio. Maybe it’s an event (great, I love events).

The short version is that I photograph people, in lots of different ways and doing lots of different things. Because people are cool. They’re fun and interesting, so is a lot of the stuff that they do. And photographing them makes me cool, fun and interesting (it doesn’t really, I was already fun and interesting. Cool is up for debate though).

Now you find a photographer that suits you, you like their style, you get on with them, what they do will have value for you and will meet the need that you have. Somewhere down the list of your requirements will be price.

Just don’t do us both a favour and don’t put it at the top of your list (unless of course you are following the word ‘price’ with the words ‘is no object’…).  Hiring yourself a photographer based solely on price and not on their value to you hardly ever ends as well as you might like. Trust me on this.
